Flickr album is a photo album that stores photographs like any other photo album. When the book is opened, the viewer is photographed. The photograph is then uploaded automatically to flickr.com via Max/Jitter and a Python script, preserving that memory forever. The photographs uploaded by the album are publicly available for viewing. The previously private act of looking at one's family photo album becomes public with the introduction of the internet. This is a concern with social networking websites, whereby sites like facebook and flickr are replacing the family photo album while transforming the intrinsic nature of viewing the photographs into a considerably less private act.
