Online shopping is becoming increasingly common, and involves a growing disconnect between the object purchased, and where that object originates. Indexical Packages is an attempt to increase awareness of shipping distance through material exploration. The packages are marked permanently upon contact, leaving scratches, indentations and fingerprints. The result is a visual representation of the distance a package has travelled to arrive at someone's front door.
